FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 22, 2019
Salt Lake City, UT – Today, news broke that Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation has been delivered to Attorney General Barr. A bipartisan bill has been introduced in the U.S. Senate that would require that the Mueller investigation be made public, and Senators Lee and Romney are not listed as cosponsors. Chase Thomas, executive director for Alliance for a Better Utah, issued the following statement:
“With 53% of registered voters in Utah supporting the Mueller investigation, we sincerely hope that Senators Lee and Romney will sign on to the bipartisan legislation that would require the full report be released. Every Utahn and American has the right to know the results of this two-year process. For the sake of transparency and faith in our institutions, we call on Lee and Romney to support making the Mueller report public.”
