Ms. Howells is a JD/MBA candidate at the University of Utah. Earlier this year, she received the first Legislative Policy Fellowship through a program established between the ABU Education Fund and the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, a fellowship program that combines the College of Law’s focus on public service and the ABU Education Fund’s focus on civic engagement with the aim of equipping new lawyers with skills in local legislative policy.
Josh Kanter, Founder and Board President of the Alliance for a Better UTAH, said “We’re thrilled to be working with Lauren again and to name her the first Karen Shepherd Fellow.
